Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever device, browser or assistive technology they use.
This is a plain-language draft for an early-stage project, not legal advice. It describes what the site actually does today and will be updated as JustMyth changes.
1. Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. The site has not yet been formally audited against them, so we do not claim full conformance.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings in order, and labelled form fields and buttons.
- Visible focus outlines for keyboard navigation.
- Respect for your system's reduced motion setting: scroll and entrance animations are switched off when it is on.
- Text that reflows on small screens without horizontal scrolling, and text you can zoom.
- Form errors announced to screen readers, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
- Self-hosted fonts and no autoplaying media.
3. Known limitations
- The background and colours change with the time of day, so contrast varies between themes and some decorative elements may have lower contrast at dawn or dusk.
- There is no “skip to content” link yet; keyboard users tab through the header first.
4. Tell us about a barrier
If something on this website is hard or impossible for you to use, email devtmj@apeironlabs.tech. Tell us the page, what you were trying to do and the browser or assistive technology you use. We aim to reply within 5 working days and, where we cannot fix something quickly, to give you the information another way.
