MythBrowse is an AI-first desktop browser on the Servo engine. No Chromium. All Rust. Windows first, Linux too.
Status: pre-alpha, week 1
Browser chrome, history, bookmarks and tab sleeping. The AI home is an offline stub until week 2.
Features today
- Address bar: a URL opens directly; any other text goes to the AI home as a prompt; start with
?to search the web. - Frameless window: tabs live in the title bar. Drag empty title-bar space to move the window (double-click maximizes) and drag any edge to resize. On Windows, the system shadow, rounded corners (Windows 11) and Aero Snap are kept.
- Time-of-day theme: dawn, day, dusk, evening and night, from the shared JustMyth design tokens.
- History & bookmarks: stored locally. See Privacy & data.
- Tab sleeping: background tabs idle for 10 minutes release their engine view and reload when selected.
- Single executable: the UI is embedded in the binary.
