Approvals & Guardian
How MythDesk decides what Myth may do on its own and what needs your approval.
Myth works on your real PC, so every action passes through Guardian first.
Allow, ask, block
| Rule | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Allow | Myth may do it on its own. |
| Ask | Myth stops and waits for your approval. |
| Block | Myth never does it. |
Sending, paying, deleting, logging in and installing always need your approval.
What Guardian checks
- Rules: your allow / ask / block rules.
- Injection taint: prompt-injection taint tracking (details coming soon).
- Outbound review: a small model reviews outbound actions before they happen.
Guardian is also one of the four model roles, so you can choose which model performs that review. See Models & BYOK.
Approving from anywhere
Approvals appear in the desktop app, and on Telegram as Approve / Deny buttons.
The kill switch
The desktop app's big Stop button halts Myth.
Secrets
Secrets live in Windows Credential Manager, never in files or prompts. When you teach Myth a skill, passwords are never recorded.
Configuring rules in detail is coming soon to these docs.
